I want to use the a Gecko 320 drives with a baldor servo motors. The Baldor servo motors has a 500 line encoders but they draw 120 mA. I was going to use an external transformer to power the encoders. But I think I heard somewhere that the Gecko's will require their own power supply for the encoders. Is this true? It would be easier to use just one 5V 1A transformer to power all 3 encoders. Thanks, Paul |
