G540 not powering up

I Purchased a Gecko G540 last month and got everything wired up minus the computer and the power light does not come on. The fault light is not as either and the charge pump switch is to off. I have pin 10 grounded to pin 12 and the positive going to pin 11. My power supply is showing 36 volts output but the G540 does not come on. Do I have to have the DB25 cable attached for the G540 to come on? is there a jumper I can make to test the power comes on to the G540?

I have everthing done except the computer and wanted to verify everything is wired right. Can someone tell me if this is a problem and I got a bad G540 or do I have to have the DB25 cable plugged in and a computer on to run the G540,

Thank you

Reversed power supply polarity will blow the internal fuse. The only other reason for the G540 not coming up is no power is being applied.

I made one hundred percent certain the power was wired up to the correct terminals using Gecko's insctructions and diagrams and was more than triple checked before the power supply was plugged in.

I popped the back cover off and from what I can see there is no fuse inside. Where is this fuse you speak of?

So, I pulled the cover and separated the motherboard from the four controllers. I took out the DMM and checked the inline pico fuse and to my surprise... dead! It's odd really because I wired everything up per instructions but hopefully I can get a few fuses tomorrow and get this thing up and running. I am getting a few just in case. I am hoping this is the only issue I have with the controller.

Just for reference, I will be replacing this with a Littelfuse wire lead fast blow 7 Amp 125V fuse. From what I can gather from the band and the information I've gathered from other sites this is what I need. Can someone please verify before I go pick these up?

Important: Please use only Littlefuse part number 0251007.MXL. See www.digikey.com item F2318-ND. No other fuse will blow fast enough to protect the G540.

thanks, that verified I was getting the right fuse. I found two suppliers here local so I'll be picking up a pack this afternoon. hopefully that is the only issue and I'll be up and running later tonight.
