I have 4 gecko340 and a 67 volt (48ac*1.4)dc powersupply. I have 3 motor which is suitable to use at that voltage but one of the motor is 24v. What is the best way to reduce the voltage to 24volt. I use serial resistor with the motor but it produce so much heat. Regards, Nuri Erginer |

| Do not use a series power resistor anywhere! 24VDC motors should be OK with a 48VDC supply so long as you set the LIMIT trimpot to your motor's max current rating and you don't ask your CNC program to run the motor past the motor's rated RPM. Get rid of the resistor, it can damage things! Mariss |
