    Gecko 540's

I have just wired up my 540 drive. I have checked all connections several times and all is as required, ie 35vdc arriving at pins 11 & 12 polarity is correct, pins 10-12 wired via an NC emergency stop, charge pump setting enabled on pin 16 all step and drive pins enabled as per instructions. Unfortunately I get no indication of life at all, no power light, no fault light. I tried inducing a fault light by going open circuit on pins 10-12 but no fault light. Did I blow a fuse, is there a fuse????. Help Please

You must have reversed the supply polarity. That is guaranteed to the blow the internal fuse. Good news is the G540 is unharmed.

    Gecko 540

Thanks Maris, I'll take the back of the Gecko today and check. Can you confirm that the back is just pressed on as I see no securing screws. Thank you again for your help...regards Rod
