should my g540 be getting hot just sitting plugged into the power and the printer port? Mach is running and im trying to figure out why my fault light wont go out. I have the charge pump turned on. 48v power supply. |

| make sure that the computers printer port is set to EPP in CMOS (BIOS) make sure that you have a wire at least or an estop switch in place and its making contact. If you have a estop switch, then replace it with just a wire to ground (Check the docs for the terminal pin number) just for testing. make sure that your printer cable is a straight thru cable and not a cross over cable. Download the XML file from geckos site Those will get it out of fault. |
