Wiring diagram for Gecko g540 and cnc4pc C8 relay

Well, after banging my head and trying to make things difficult, I finally have the relay working with my g540 to control my spindle motor. Guess I just wasn't thinking and after getting a boot from my friend, it's purring like a kitten.

I've included two diagrams of the wiring using a 5vdc psu or a 48vdc psu.

Comments, corrections, and suggestion are welcome........

I think I talked to you on the phone a few days ago. If that was you, I went to the website for your SS relay and explained to you how a 4.7K resistor from your motor power supply to the '+' input of the SS relay and the '-' of the SS relay to the G540 output would make everything work and how you would not need a 5VDC supply.

Your correct about the phone conversation and using the resistor from my 48vdc psu. I just happened to use the 5vdc psu because I had one laying around in my shop. I just posted this diagram for any others, (like myself) to use that need a Diagram for Dummies. I also posted a diagram using the 48vdc psu and resistor.

I greatly appreciated your help and support and love my g540. I would highly recommend this drive to anyone that asked me about it....
