Resister Help Gecko Newbie

I have just purchased the Gecko 201 and need to figure out the proper resiter.
I have Vexta PH 299-O1 2 Phase 3V 4amp steppers
Do I just put a 62 K resister on the Term 11 and 12 and if so how acurate does the resister have to be I went to my local radio shack and they dont have a 62K but the store clerk said I could solder multiple ones together to get 62K.

Is the 62k a rating from gecko to use with their drive? I am assuming they are to be used with the encoder set-up as terminating resisters? If so, then I would just stick with their recommendation.
Or are you trying to calculate resistance for some other reason?

If you can find something close to it, it would do fine, otherwize if you want 62k by putting them together, they must be in series, in parallel they will have less resistance.

If they have these values they can be used either in series or parallel to get 62k, depending on what they have e.g. 2x 30k or 33k in series or 2x 127k in parallel.
