Advice on the best way to sell NIB G540 plus

Things have come up that has kept me from building a router that I had bought a G540 for. I have a G540 rev. 1 plus the rev. 3 upgrade motherboard, both new and never hooked up........... That said,

    I don't have a paypal account.............

Is Ebay the best way to go about selling these items?

    Thanks for any suggestions,
    Jack

    Jack,

Price it right and someone on the Zone will jump on it. Have 'em send you a money order.

Last I heard, Ebay was requiring sellers to use Paypal.

    Eurisko, Thanks for the reply.

    I was thinking $280 shipped (48 states)

I was thinking that would be a good deal considering it has a 2nd motherboard with it.......... ?????

Do people actually use the Zone's classified section?

I know when I was active here on the Zone, I always forgot to check it out when I needed something.

    Cheers,

    Where to sell it

It certainly won't hurt to post it in the classified section of the zone and then put it up on ebay after a week if you get no action.
Not having paypal will hurt you a little bit, but since the price is good, it should sell.
If I could afford it right now, I would buy it and put it on the shelf, but times are tough and the job security is getting scary. They are reducing 12 jobs through retirement and then by layoff.

How did you get hold of a second motherboard?
I have a number of G250 drives and would like to get hold of a motherboard to hold them.

    Howdy draughted and tumutbound,

One of the differences between the revisions was the addition of a Charge Pump circuit for use with Mach3.

I had bought one (G540) from the first batch of G540's and had thought that they were going to have the Charge Pump, but they didn't. Gecko offered to send me the next revision board that had the Charge Pump incorporated in it free of charge (great company).
