| I have earned some cash that doesn’t have any home earmarks on it and am ready to add some parts to the G251’s that I have been sitting since September of 2008. I want to build a dual drive screw machine about 3’x 4’ I have some nice linear bearings and ball screw, the ball screw is not a precision ground but will see how it works out. Photo below. I would be cutting MDF, Plywood, Hardwoods, and occasionally some aluminum. I am lucky to have my homemade fixed gantry machine to do the job of making its brother, so this will be a much easier build than the first one. It was a big learning curve for me. Could you recommend Steppers, Breakout Board, and Power Supply for the 251’s. I have red your comments about the Vexta PK268-03A (Oriental Motor Company) and it is out of my range. I kind of would like to buy them all from one supplier if possible just for the ease of dealing with one supplier when it came time for troubleshooting and not have one supplier blame the other and my in the middle, but separate suppliers is not a show stopper. Thanks Last edited by Mr.Chips; 02-25-2009 at 12:45 AM. Reason: Duhhh Forgot Photo |

| I guess the question is too broad because I didn't get any replies. I have listed some parts below and want to get a conformation on the best way to go for my application as described above. I would prefer to stick with one supplier but if there is a dramatic difference I will split the suppliers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CNC4PC ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BOB: There are two any advantage over the Kelinginc?
