Need Help!- Rev 4 Gecko 540; not coming out of fault?

Hey there,

I sent my previous Gecko 540 for evaluation, I got an invoice back stating that all G250's boards passed. It did however say in the invoice that my BOB was updated to the latest one.

I wired up the 540 as normal and it did not come out of fault. Nothing was changed with EMC2 or any programs.

Then i said "Must be the internal switch on the BOB", Opened up the new 540 I got today and there was no switch.... So then I said, maybe I'll invert pin 16 in EMC2 as charge pump (I inverted and univerted the pin). Gecko did not come out of fault.

I have my E-stop wired just like before, like I said. Nothing has changed, wiring is the same, programs and pins are the same.

I also didn't see anything etched on the BOB, do the new ones say Rev 4 or something? I thought mu old ones did.

mine is rev4 and has the little switch inside - you need to pull the bob off the drives though to get access if i recall.

i vaguely remember reading that rev5 will have the switch moved to another location. perhaps you need to go searching

I never took off the entire BOB. Duh! Ok ok, should be under.
