Is there a mach profile out there somewhere for the G320 gecko drives and the mini I/O breakout board? If not, does this make sense? Active low for both step and direction. Pins X Step 2 X Dir 3 Y Step 4 Y Dir 5 Z step 6 Z Dir 7 E-stop on the mini I/O breakout board jumpered. Any other input would be appreciated because. The Gecko drives are controlling the motors, but not responding to the computer inputs. |

| I recieved help from the makers of the I/O board - CandCNC. They have a profile for their mini-I/O board posted on their Yahoo site. After properly installing the profile I was ready to go. Funny thing though. The board was supposed to come with instructions and a CD containing the necessary profile among other things. The retailer omitted these when teh board was shipped this past July. Now the Mini-I/O board is obsolete. I guess that just means that it has been replaced with a new and better although more expensive brake out board. Any way, I'm off exploring my latest problem - trying to get a AMD dual core bare bones comuter with a PCI card parallel port to run Mach. The Mach driver test keeps saying "too fast." |
