I have 3 G203 drives, and was wondering what everyone else is using for heatsinks. actual heatsinks, or just aluminum plate. [sorry my shift key is acting up lol] i see they measure only 2.5 by 2.5 inches, so either 1 good sized heatsink, or 3 seperate ones. also what are you doing for fans, 1, none, or what. Socket A cpu heatsink something like this work well even though it is 1/4 inch smaller than the drive. do you think i should run 3 of these with the fans all wired up. brian |

| Thanks Blackbeard, Ive got an old cpu heatsink or two laying around, Ill try them and then get another one if I dont have enough. I was trying to find a larger heatsink to hold them all, and was having trouble finding one. |

| I made one out of a piece of 1/2 x 2 3/4" of 6061 by cutting some "fins" on the back side and then drilling and tapping the front to hold the drives. Heat sink grease was applied to the back of the gecko's and I have not had a problem. The drives have never heated to the point to make me think they are to hot.
