Yes I read the manual and posts. but I have never built before and i need to know im looking at the right numbers. I am hooking a KL23H286-20-8B Link up to a G540. Reading the G540 manual and assuming i am wiring in parallel would i use the 2.8 number and purchase a 2.8k resistor. |

| If you have it wired as parallel, than that is correct. If you are series, then you would use 1.4K. Read http://www.geckodrive.com/upload/Step_motor_basics.pdf to determine how you have the motor wired. |

| ok thanks i was getting confused. First build here and after reading i needed a resistor I thought no problem. When i looked at mauser I was presented with a menu of types. I wasnt quite sure if there was yet another formula i needed to figure out what to get. Thanks I appreciate the help. |
