Does anyone know if the heat-sink/mounting plate is grounded to any D/C on this unit? I am preparing to mount them in the heat-sink for the enclosure for this retro-fit; as I understand, the A/C earth ground must be kept separate from the D/C. This entire machine w/ enclosure is earth ground.

| Mine uses screws to the cabinet in the notches and I'm sure at least one screw per unit is making contact through scraping off the anodizing. This doesn't really answer your question though, but I would think they are separate.

| I'm not an electronic guy, but my system is working real good. I have my ac green going to chassis, black and red powering the dc power supply. Then I ran dc out (+) and (-) to the Geckos. Cheers, Jack

| I'm just going to mount these units to the heat sink in the chassis. Hopefully I'll manage to find the mica small sheets, and plastic screws before its ready to test.

| The chassis I was talking about is the alum bottom of my enclosure, which I also used to mount my g203v's to. I am running my geckos at 2.8v and am using the alum bottom as a small heatsink.

| I will be using the entire 7 amps to drive nema 42 steppers on a Bridgeport Boss, w/ a 2 hp motor & VFD, which is grounded to chassis. The 3-phase 2 horse spindle is also grounded to the chassis. I was going to use the 220 black line to earth ground to generate 120v; which is the reason I am concerned about the heat-sink of these units connected to any D/C power.
