g210 disable signal

Can the disable signal be run through a limit switch?

And if so can it be in series with the ground signal from the
controller so that I can still use my e-stop switch to disable
all axis.

I am running a software similar to Camsoft with the Galil card
driving an Ah-ha 3 axis control box.

I am also already using a g210 on my 4th axis, but I never hooked
up the disable because I was unsure if it would cause problems.

I have a full time manufacturing business making my own product and
can not afford down time.

I am so glad I found this wonderful forum, hopefully I can help somebody else
someday the way you are helping me.

Depends on how you have the present E-stop circuit set up, usually you want to kill the power to the drive. But there is also a forward/reverse L.S. input for each axis on the Galil card, and a Amp enable output from the Galil to the drive that can be used.
There are a few ways it can be set up.
