This is really a question for Marris (Mr. Gecko)! I would like to include a complete PC in a large project box along with four G202's, a 65VDC 6A power supply, and one of Bob Campbell's breakout boards. I have 100 ft spool of 4-wire braided & foil shielded cable for the motors and motor control lines, my question is this: Will I have any noise or RF issues with either the PC or any of the CNC components if they are all in one box, and if so what can I do to control of eliminate it? Thanks, Widgit |

| Widgit, Don't worry, I answer to "hey, you!".:-) The main thing is to keep the STEP, DIRECTION and COMMON wires away from the motor output wires. Don't try to be neat and wire them (inputs and outputs) together in the same wiring harness. Otherwise there is no need for a partition or anything else. Everything will get along with everything else in the same box just fine. Mariss |

| Thanks Mariss! I have only build one other router which I attempted to wire myself, so some of the concepts are still in my head! I do remember that all motor and step/direction wires needed to be shielded, and that the shielding is only anchored on the controller end! Also, I remember that they must be grouped separately, and not run near the power lines either! I'm glad you're around to answer our questions Mariss! Thanks again, Widgit
