hey guys i am looking at converting a machne we build at work from the massivly expesive and propritary system we are using at work to a set of 3 gekos and a break out board what I need to know is what kind of through put can I expect to get running from a printer port or should I go custom stuff from usb and I if I go usb I'll see if I can pass the info on for all of you guys we are spending $20,000 for a servo controller now that only gets us about 300 350 ipm on so I'm looking to curb that a bit I'm not looking for fdaster I'm looking to get into something cheaper and easier to work with so we can afford to stock replacment parts any help would be great before I take my sugestion to the boss and look like a fool Last edited by broncosis; 07-29-2004 at 02:08 PM. |
