Hi, The Z servo for my IH mill servodrive is giving a fault light, and z axis is not operating. For a while the Z axis was on occasion not working. Now the fault light is on. It seemed the problem started when i was looking for the lose connection and disconected a wire that went from ERR/RES to Enc+ i think. The mill became erractic when that happened. However I dont really know anything about this stuff. I tried disconnecting the red and black that goes to servo motor to see if the motor was shorting or something but the fault light does not go out. I tried disconecting all the inputs etc except the power to ground and dc + and still the fault light is on. My knowledge of electrical engineering is highly limited. any help appreciated! thanks R. |
