| Fried drive I fried my drive and don't know why. I have a 1.6 v 4.7A motor. I have a 1002K resistor and 33v power supply. I hooked the motor up 1/2 winding and smoked my drive Why? Thanks Don C. |

| If that isn't a typo a 1002K is to large a value which is probably why you burnt out the drive. For a motor rated at 4.7A ( usually the unipolar rating) should be about .71X4.7=3.29A if the motors is connected to the G201 in the bipolar series configuration. The resistor should have be about 39K
