I have a cnc router with Flashcut and gecko drives. Last week my wife decided to move the gantry down the length of the router without turning on the system. Now the flashcut signal generator gives up and disconnects when ever I try to run the router. I moved the flashcut sg over to another router and it works fine. So I am thinking that the Gecko 201 is blown by the stepper motors being spun. It just occured to me that I didn't check the supply voltages on the switching supply. So that might be a problem. Any opinions? ernie www.balchsigns.com |
