| You didn't say how many motors so I'll guess 3. Set the drives to 2.4 amps each. This is what you need when running the motors full winding. Use 24K or 27K current set resistors (2.4A times 47,000 / ( 7A - 2.4A) = 24.5K current set resistor). Each drive will never exceed 2/3 times 2.4 amps or 1.6 amps maximum, so 3 drives will require a 4.8 amp power supply. Cap size (uF) = 4.8 amps times 80,000 / 53 volts = 7,245 uF. Use any value between that and 3 times as large (21,736 uF). For instance, 10,000 uF at 63V would be dandy. Mariss |
