I'm using several G201's driven by a Galil motion controller. The Galil can change whether the step/dir pulses for each axis is active high or active low. I have some configured as active high and some as active low so that when I command a motor to go in the + direction it all the motors will move their loads in the same direction (the motors are moving certain elements and half are geared left handed and half are geared right handed). Does this cause any problem with the G201? I haven't noticed anything but I gather that the drives are supposed to be one way or the other. I could just re-wire half the drives to move in the opposite direction if I have to. Thanks, Aaron |
