Hi, I have used 320 servo amps in the past with excellent success, truly a great product! I have a retrofit project now where they just won't have enough power. The present machine has an old beat controller but excellent high power servos that have no problems. These servo motor/amp packages have tach feed back and accept +/- 5 analog control. They control 190 VDC @ 30 amps. My question is, can I use part of the 320 circuit to perform the step-pulse to analog conversion and encoder interface? I'm thinking I could just tap off the error voltage point of the 320's and drive my servos. Or does a product like this exist? I think there should be a 3xx version available for this purpose. I see several applications at our shop for this sort of thing. john |
