Do you produce more power in half winding or full winding. I don't seem to get the hold I should using full winding. I have a 6 wire motor that I'm not using the center tap and reducing amp by half and voltage doubles. I am using 29v on a rated 1.8 v motor. |

| The reason may be that the Gecko stepper drivers automatically go to a reduced current mode after a few seconds. If this is unacceptable there is a jumper inside the case that can disable this function. See the data sheet for this feature.

| No I have disabled the reduction. It runs smooth but just doesn't have the power that my other router has which is running in unipolor. and on your responce to fried drive it was a typo. I used a 120k resistor in half winding. but I am using 24k in full winding. motors are 1.7v 4.7amp |
