| Hello: Can somebody tell me how can I take the current read when the motors are running?. I am using the PMDX 131 BOB and 201 geckos. Where I must put the ampermeter test points? Is between motors and geckos or between power supply and geckos? I will appreciate any help. rolveram |

| Cheap clamp on AC amp meter on the input to the power supply will give you an idea but will be high because of the total AC power input is losses in the transformer plus the power used by the gecko/stepper. More expensive clamp on DC amp meter ( I wouldn't be without one) can check current on the power DC+ lead to the gecko and so ignore any losses in the power supply.
