I am wondering which of the magmotor C40 series servo motors (www.magmotor.com) would be the best match for the G320.

The choice is large between the C40 - 300, - 400 & - 500 they are respectively rated to 416, 512, & 640 oz.in.

The problem is to get the best winding recomendation so as to have it operate in the best possible conditions within the limits of 80 V and 20 Amp of the G320 drive. I am not too sure what should be the priority.

My guess is that I should get the operating Voltage close to 80 V may be 75 Volt and try to select the winding which gives the RPM closest to 3000 and then verify that the current still is below 20A for the nominal motor rating.

In this case the C40 C 300, C40 A 400 and C40 A 500 should be right but will the gecko be able to operate continuously on 17 Amp. ?

I would selct the reduction gear to acieve 1000 RPM at the balscrew end.

with a 5TPT lead that would allow for close to 200 TPI right ?
