Hello everybody A friend of mine has converted his Drill Mill in a 3 axes CNC but unfortunalely his English is not as good as his technical skill. I had the chance to work in an Amercan company in Europe (Luxembourg). We are living in France and would like to have the variety of suppliers, forum, ... you have on these subject. He has a Wabeco F1200 with 3 hybrid stepping motors FL0STH86-2008BF for the 3 axes. He is using Mach3 as control software. He is using for the moment Taiwan Power units but would like to update this equipment with better control unit and be able to run micro-steps ans so one and is looking in the Gecko products. He would like to buy 4 of G203 modules (the 3 actual axes + the fourth is in construction). He would like to know the point of vue of you, american users I have already look through this forum and haven't seen any bad experience on this supplier but nothing special on the G203 modules. It would be very nice from you to help two frenchies ... Thanks in advance. |

| The G203 works great! I bought four of them last week and am perfectly satisfied with them. I changed a single jumper on the PMDX-122 breakout board to use common ground instead of common 5V and then changed the signal polarity in Mach 3. That's all that was required. When I hooked up my G101 and then my G100, I didn't do anything. I also have some G202 and a G320. All of them work perfectly. However, in the future, when I need stepper drivers, I'll select the G203. |

| Thanks a lot Richards for your answer. I was really afraid that we wouldn't receive any answer after several days and 119 reads... So far I read the different posts, the 203 seems to be a good product. So I will ask for a quotation with shipping costs,... I got also an answer from them that they have a representative in Europe. Enjoy your hobby... |
