Firstly, Marris, I enjoyed speacking with you on the phone the other day about my proposed Boss 5 conversion. It nice to know that you can still get great customer service in our "push a number and hold world". If I'm not mistaken you recomended 202's as my best bet. As a reminder, I plan to use the original NEMA42 steppers (rated at 9 amps per phase) with the Bridgeport 56VDC power supply. After doing enough reading to go blind from it I was just wondering why not use the new 203V's? It seems like this would be my best bet. I also plan on your GREX100 product. Thanks in advance.-Dave |

| Mariss is on a crusie so he probaly doesn't have or want internet access. I would vote for the G203's for several reasons. I have the G203 that I tested and am very happy with them. The only issue that I see is ion multi axis configurations it is possible for one axis to fault ( disable) and the other axis continue to run. I have run the G100 with the G203's and it is awesome. The G202's would perform about the same speed. But the features of the G203 over the G202's is impressive.
