CN0142 is toast?

I realize that the Centent CN0142 isn't a Gecko drive, but I thought it might be the best place to post considering the "connection" between the two companies.

I absent mindedly hooked the abcd phases to pins 4567 instead of 3456 and tried to spin the motor (half-winding unipolar @ 1A). The motor jittered a little and then stopped respondinding. Thinking that I had wired something incorrectly, I discovered the aforementioned error.

What are the chances that this drive is totally fried? Anytime I hook it up correctly now,the only thing it does is make my 24V PS squeal.

No answers from the man himself? I guess I'll have to be resigned to the fact that I made myself one nice conversation piece of a paperweight.

When I step up and build my next machine, it will be gecko powered.
