Just to let you all know. I purchased a couple of G 202 drives a few months ago and their is a typo that may lead to a lot of confusion when hooking up the drives, especially for a first timer.


If anybody else is banging their collective heads against the wall. Their was a mistake in the docs to at least some papers that went out with G202's

(TERM 9) STEP PULSE Connect the step line to this terminal
(TERM 10) STEP PULSE Connect the step line to this terminal

What it is supposed to read is…


(TERM 9) STEP PULSE Connect the step line to this terminal
(TERM 10) COMMON, connect +5vdc from the step/direction to this terminal
