I have a K2cnc 3925 router that didn't have all that many hours on it when the Y axis Gecko servo controller smoked (literally). K2 was great about repairing the controller for me, but since then the Y axis motor hums and I can feel a vibration in the ball screw. Can someone point me in the direction of how to actually tune a motor/gecko running mach3. Is there some way to tune from within mach3? I found some docs on the gecko web site, but they don't seem to give the whole story... Dennis |

| This would be great info, I too have a 3925G servo driven K2. I followed the setup guide in Mach2 and it seems to run fine. I am still learning so it hasn't exactly run much. I have a spread sheet in excel for the math etc.. there has to be limits, mechanical from the machine, and from the motors in rpm etc.. Sorry it doesn't answer your question, but I am as interested as you! th |
