Hi all, I have the DeskCNC Controller V2 and i plan to use it with the Gecko 320 servodrives. The manual of the G320 says to set the step pulse generator(?) to 40 Pulses Per Second. It wants the 40 PPS to set the damping graph. How can i achive that with DeskCNC??? Any ideas helpful. Thanks!!

You would need to do the math... How many pulses per inch, then how many inches per minute to achieve that pulse rate... then g1 X10000 F(that IPM) in the MDI input. You should be able to set or read the pulses per inch in the machine configuration. -Jeff

so in this case... if you have 5threads/inch and a 3:1 drive ratio and a 2000count per rev encoder... i get 30000 pulses per inch, running mach at 45000hz i get 1.5 in/sec or 90 ipm. therefore running at 40 pps i get 1.5*40/30000 = .0002in/s or .012 IPM g1 X10000 (.012) = g1 X120 is this correct?
