Brush or Brushless

Hi,
I do not know why a DC Brush servo control card can not be used with a DC Brushless motor? Can some one tell me?

The basic difference is that a DC brushless has three windings ( 3 connections) the DC brushed has one winding (two connections).
The reverse can often be done, as long as the drive can be configured for 60°
commutation.
The DC brushless drive also requires commutation feedback from the motor.

I have gecko 340 servodrive and a PMDX breakout board and have know good DC brushless motors.
Do you know if this is possible

I have no personal knowledge of Gecko drives, but I believe this model has a single H bridge drive output so AFAIK it would not be any use for DC Brushless motors.
