Gecko 320's startup for the newbie?

I have the same problem. I got my controller wired. When I hit engage switch, I get pulsating motor (X abd Y axis only, Z aixs does not move at all). The gecko 320 have fault light on. I was able to reset the blinking switch on my Mach2, but no movement to the motors. I am new to CNC and need help.

I was able to get all three motors pulsating. I tried to set the gain damp amd limit switchs, but am confused in the position. Which way id 10 o'clock. Are we looking with the bsae down and which is the pointer?. I also tried to reverse the PhaseA and B, but then the motor wont turn (I can hear a little huming noise and on rversing the motor terminals, I get pulsating motor again.). Can somebody help please.

Looks like everybody is busy. Can anybody help in solving the above problem. When I turn my controller box on, Isee the red light on the gecko drive. When I engage the motors the one axis motor is spining while other motors are still pulsating. I have the same setting for all three geckos. Can anybody help please.
