Is it safe to use an 11 Amp psu to power 3 gecko 320's and 3 7.5 Amp (max) motors - IF i confine the movements to one axis at a time, and NO CUTTING! I ask this because I am having some serious problems with my bigger (24Amp) psu which needs to be repaired, but I would like to see my machine running - ie setup software and tune the drives. If you think it's risky, I can just disconnect two of the drives, and only have one motor connected at any one time. Thanks guys |

| If you have set the current limit screw to match your motors you will be fine. I run three G320's on 10 amps on my drill/mill. Under normal use of the mill you will not be using very many amps per axis.
