i bit the bullet and bought some gecko drivers , now i m not to sure about the current resistors since they didn t come with any, are there any certain type of resistor that i use for these , like power resistors ,i don t quite get it

Second paragraph in the manual
"The current set resistor may be a 1/4 Watt, 5% part", standard Radio Shack stuff.

You definately will need to read the manual several times in order to familiarize yourself with the product and know how to wire the unit "CORRECTLY".Originally Posted by dertsap
The manual also gives the information for determining the CORRECT resistor value that you will need, determined by the stepper current specs.

ive read the manual many times over and it didn t say anything about a specific type of resistor , i don t know much about electronics but i do know there are various types of resistors ,as far as everything else goes wiring this thing will be straight forward once i recieve my breakout board
