| Try to turn the output shaft on the stepper or servo motor. It should be "locked up" and it will resist by turning back against your effort to turn it. That's what my servo machine does.... it sorta sings at me too! mike |

| Get yourself a logic probe. it will tell you logic hi (+Vcc), logic lo (Grnd), nothing (not connected, no signal), and has a light if its switching states. Very handy for machine control debug and testing. Cost is $20 or so. Karl |
