Hey everyone, Have a simple question about the 5amp fast blow fuses that are supposed to be used with the geckos. If my motors are drawing 5.5amps then the fuse must not blow at 5amps. Can someone explain this a little. One more question where is a good place to buy these. scott |

| Even a 3A fuse probably will not blow with a 7A motor. If both phases are taken into account, up to 10A of current can be flowing in the motor. The reason is the drive is pulse-width modulated (PWM). It draws current from the supply, then returns it 22,000 times a second. Your power supply (and fuse) only responds to the average supply current. Mariss |

| Thanks Mariss, All this electronic stuff is new to me. I just ordered a 625va transformer two 10,000uf 75v capacitors to run parallel and a 300v 20a rectifier do you think I need a voltage clamp on my power supply. |
