In an attempt to assure maximum machine control, I have purchased the encoder interface card from rogersmachine. I'm getting ready to build my control panel with the following components:
4 gecko 320's
Encoder Interface card w/2nd parallel card
CNC4PC Mini Power Supply
CNC4PC Charge Pump
CNC4PC BiDirectional Breakout Board;
I have downloaded all the manuals for the above components and started planning yesterday for the wiring.
My greatest struggle is the encoder interface board. Does it contain a build in charge pump? I think not. Can the relay from the CNC4PC charge pump be installed on pin J9 with the "special cable" of which the manual does not elaborate on how to fabricate the "special" part!!! How are the relays on the interface board used??? Is there a way to wire fault lights to the front of the contol panel? A green normal lamp and a red fault lamp for each of the 4 axis would be wonderful. Wow, if I had a schematic for the board, I most likely could fiugre all of this out. But I doubt it is available. Does anyone have any experience with this board.
