    mounting G540 in computer case?

    All wizards,
Has anyone mounted the G540 inside their CPU case? If I add a fan specifically for the Driver will it remain acceptably cool? or a heatsink? or a should I mount it in a separate enclosure? I don't want to ruin something before I even get started.
    Thanks,
    Jim

I have mine mounted in the computer case.
I put it in a 5.25 bay slot. It takes up about 1 1/2 slots. The slot above it has a 5.25 bay fan that blows over the top of it. I also have a fan blowing in from the side of the case and one in the top blowing out. I have a 48v PS strapped to the bottom inside and 2 relays attached to the back wall with 110v coming in and relayed out for spindle and shopvac controll. It is a complete controller in one box. I have run it in 90 deg weather with no problems but it only gets light use. I recently added a G251 and a C10 bob inside for a rotary axis (I have 2 motors on one axis using all 4 on th G540 for 3 axis). I have not given it a good workout with all 4 axis running yet.
