Got G250 and G251 manuals from back in 2008 - think these were the first ones released?
Need a legacy manual for a G251 r1. I won three drives ages ago and finally building an all in one control. (computer, drives, power supplies).
The note i got from Comaris said that Term 12 is common and can take 3.3-5v. Later manuals state that Term 12 is control ground/common. When i won these drives, they were so new there were no manuals. I was referred to a 203V manual. For the 203V, a current set resister for a 3.5A motor is 47k. is that the correct formula for the G251 r1?
I'd like to be able to migrate the control between two machines and would like to use a 47k trim pot that would allow me to set the resistance for different motor amperage. is that a bad idea?
Thanks!
PS. I did a full search of the gecko web site and the link to legacy manuals terminates at a blank page. I really hate asking redundant questions, but four hours of hunting CNCZone and Gecko didn't provide much. Wading through a 1100 post thread got me clues, but no formula for the early G251s
