hi guys, not sure if the red light on the G540 for all axis should be green or it's normal that it's red? few months ago I bought the V90 with USB controller - after having issues with loosing steps, communicating this with planet-cnc (which provide software), I decided to go easier way - bought Geckodrive G540 and trying set-up everything with Mach3 have power green light using HT23-280-8 with 2.1k resistor, wired in series check protobix web site for more detail - not able put url ;-( could turn the motor through Mach3, didn't try calibrate or do more as I'm not sure if the red light is ok or not somebody who can help?? |

"The red LED will be illuminated if there is no jumper connecting these two terminals" you really should read it John |

| one more time - the POWER LED is GREEN - I don't have issue with jumper or E-stop my question is on the 4 red lights - visible through hole for adjusting the trim there is nothing in the G540 manual about these 4 lights, or I'm not able find it |

| You are referring to the 4 red LEDs you see looking into the 4 "adjust" holes. It is normal for them to be on. Those LEDs are being used as 1.8V voltage regulators on each of the 4 motor drives inside the G540. The red LED that matters is the one next to the green LED on the front panel. It indicates a FAULT condition. Mariss |
