Is there any way to get more information about why the Gecko g540 is going into fault? This recently started happening after a few months of use. I am using EMC2 Linux CNC software. The program will be running along fine and then all of a sudden the g540 goes into fault, random times, no apparent reason. The EMC2 software appears to keep going along as if nothing has happened. Any EMC2 users out there? Does EMC2 do an logging at all? I haven't been able to find any. |

| DO you have a heatsink or fan on the G540? Is it getting hot?

| No heatsink but my work space is only 55 maybe 60 degrees F. The g540 feels only warm to the touch. I can hold my hand on it. One thing I have recently done is added a wifi card to the computer. I am going to disable it and see if the problem persists. I don't know why that would impact the system like this but it is worth a shot. |
