g540 Faults with more than 2 motors hooked up? | | Hello, I am in a tight spot.
last weekend the a axis driver and main board went out in my g540 do to my own fault I believe, however your staff still agreed to fix it for me free of charge.
However with the holiday upon us there was no way to get it back by Friday and I needed to get two jobs out asap so I opted to buy a refurbished unit and have it overnited got it yesterday as expected. Came in today and it would not work kept faulting. It apears after many hours I can hook up any two axis at a time but never three I also can not hook up slaved a axis and y at the same time, will always result in a fault, I can drive a or y at anytime alone.
If I hook up say a and z it will work for both axis but if i then try and hook up x it will fault. I have no clue what the problem is machine worked fine until first g540 went out, all wires and motors work fine by themselves, just cant hook up more than two axis at any time or y and slaved a. |
