Did you put the current set resistor on the Gecko's to set the current?
Wiring the motors incorrectly can damage the Geckos.
I have a small problem
i have 2 motors that jam while it is running on the bench with no load X and Y
Z is fine i try the X and Y motors on Z G202 and thay run fine i am using G202 and mach 3
my question is
are all the trimpot set the same from factory ??
and will a bad set trimpot do that ???
or are thay defective ??
and is it bad to conecte the motor coils backwards ? A+ to B+ A- to B- ???
my motors are 3.18A i test the curent when the motors turn and i get around 1.2 is that ok ???
Thanks
Yves

Yap the resistor is set right
Do they jam at high speed or slow? you may have bad bearings that rear their ugly head at high speed ie 1000 RPM++++
