Please recommend a encoder

Im looking for encoders for my mill. Its ran by automationdirects 434 steppers, g201 geckos, windford DB25 breakoutboard, and mach3. I want something half way decent but not going to break the bank. I was looking at us digital but they have to many choices and I dont have much experience with encoders. Thanks
