Question on G202 Documentation | |
I am attempting to help another member on this forum and need some clarification on the G202 documentation.
In the G202 Installation Notes dated June 2, 2005 Page 1:
Under terminal #9 STEP PULSE Connect the STEP line to this terminal. I Agree with this statement -- NO PROBLEM.
Under terminal #10 COMMON Connect the STEP line to this terminal. TYPO???
Under terminal #10 description:
"These inputs are optically isolated from the rest of the drive. Term. 10 is the common anode connection for the opto-isolators and must be connected to the +5 VDC supply of your INDEXER OR PULSE GENERATOR."
The CAPITAL letters are mine, and herein lies the confusion. I believe it to be an error in the text. NEED COMMENTS.
