I am wondering if the red led light that I am seeing when I power up my g201x is indicating that the drive is powered (happy) or if it means that I have a fault status (sad). I don't see any other LEDs on the board. Does red mean power or fault? Can the single LED be both red or green? I connected a single drive to my keling power supply (6520), pmdx-122, and a motor. Ran Mach3 and was able to control the motor manually. The LED illuminated red as soon as the power supply was turned on. I disconnected everything except the power supply and g201x, same thing, red LED. But I don't even know if this is a bad sign or a good sign. Thanks for the help. |

Looking at photos of earlier versions of the G201X, you can see that there was once an opening in the cover above this LED and that it was labeled POWER. Regards, Steve Stallings PMDX.COM - Products for CNC and motion control applications |
