which breakoutboard to choose for gecko's?

    Hi,

I am looking to find a suitable breakoutboard for use with gecko's.
I'm looking at the following 2 boards.

Campbell Designs - CNC with Bob Campbell

    CNC4PC

but what is the big difference between these two? (apart from the 5V supplied on the campbellboard itself).

It's important for me to have led lights to see the status of the I/O.

    comments/help always welcome!

    thank you,
    Mat

    Hi Matt,

You may want to consider the MB-02V6 board as well.
MB-02-V6 Bidirectional Breakout Board [MB-02] - US$39.50 : Homann Designs, The Preferred CNC Component supplier

It has LED for all input and output signals plus a charge pump enable, along with jumpers to let you control whether you want pullups/pull downs and whether you want the common to be 5V or 0V.

    Cheers,

    Peter.
