Being an electronics novice I bought a pre-built, pre-wired CNC Controller box with a Gecko G540 from Keling. Nothing worked and the Fault light would not go off until I pushed in the E-Stop button, then everything works fine. When I opened up the case put a meter on the switch I discovered it's wired so it's normally open when the button is in the out position and closed when the button is in the in, latched position. Is this backwards? Shouldn't it be wired normally closed? |

| It sounds like your switch is mis-wired. The e-stop circuit should be closed that way a wire break will trigger an e-stop rather than disable the e-stop circuit. If they are using the same switch I bought from them, it is a simple matter to rewire it to NC. It sounds like someone made a mistake assembling it. bob |
